Enxaneta*

climbing to the clouds I touch the sky

Enxaneta is a documentary directed by Paul Subirà Claramunt and filmed in 3D for the world of the human towers. This popular Catalan tradition has more than two hundred years of history and is based on the construction of "castles" by people who agree to its erection.

'Enxaneta' aims to show the entire procedure that takes place for the achievement of a castle, from the teamwork between people of all ages up to the values of self superation, courange and responsibility of all of them.

As a remarkable point, in the year 2010, these "castles" were recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage.

(*) The enxaneta is the person that reaches the top the human tower. Until the enxaneta does not reach the top, the castle is not considered loaded. He or she is normally a child.
