1 or 2 tablespoons of honey per person
walnuts

Preparation

Mel i mató is probably the most traditional and simple dessert of the Catalan cuisine. It features a blend of soft home-made cheese and honey sparkled with roasted walnuts. The mató cheese is a Catalan fresh cheese made from cows ' or goats' milk, with no salt added, similar to ricotta or curd cheese.
