We are excited to announce that Dr. Joe is in a compelling new documentary/drama, entitled People v. The State of Illusion, a film by Austin Vickers.
Set in the notorious "Old Main Prison" of the New Mexico State Penitentiary, it tells the story of Aaron Roberts and explores the science and power of perception and imagination and documents the evidence that answers the central question of this provocative film, "can we really change?" Dr. Joe is featured in the film along with 8 other leading thinkers in the fields of neuroscience, biochemistry, psychology, quantum physics, sociology, and consciousness theory.

The film premieres September 9, 2011 at the Harkins Camelview Theatres in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Austin Vickers, the writer and producer of the film, and the Director Scott Cervine will be appearing for a Q&A following the 7 pm shows on Friday September 9, and Saturday September 10.
