~A star in twilight~

Have you ever watched kids
on a merry-go-round,
or listened to the rain
slapping on the ground?

Ever walked looking down
to the grass, and laughed loudly;
Then hugged trunks dressing in brown,
or delightfully fused in nature’s anatomy?

Oh I miss that cold morning,
and rivers of blues above;
Laying beneath dew dropping,
with which I used to fall in love.

Beneath those white clouds,
I drew smiles, I got all wet;
Chased secrets hiding in the woods,
my eyes kissed the sunset.

Have you ever waited for the day,
as if it was your darling hubby;
Or spent an hour with a butterfly,
Smiling for you could touch her dancing body?

Ever smelled the aging wood
of wild fences, or the glorious rust;
Planted wisdom in the delicate mud,
or just enjoyed the softness of dust?

Ever sat with the sun on hills;
holding hope in her magic wand,
granting you some warm thrills,
and floods of rays touching your hand?

Have you ever floated;
switched off your head,
roamed the whole galaxy,
with every light thread?

Ever looked to the stars glowing,
imagining them your diamond necklace;
Or raised a smile at the crescent bowing
when going to sleep, fading in velvet space?

When all ways seem to bend,
memories shine my way at night.
When memories fade into their end,
I’ll dwell a star in every twilight.
