The pond
All the animals love the pond;
Frogs and cats,
Oarsmen and wasps.
It's a wonderful place to be.
A pond is a sanctuary.
But the pond is only transient,
It will not stay for long.
The chlorine and the vacuum hose.
The skimmer box and net.
We'll clean it up
And make it right.
No pond will be in sight.
We'll skinny dip
In the star light
In a glorious,
Wonderful,
Pool
