My village is protected by two mountains, one on each side: The Top Mountain and the Inside Mountain. The Top one, as its name implies, is perched on top of towering rocks and looks up, up, as if life going on on the fields was not of its interest. The Inside Mountain, however, lives stuck in the depths of the earth. In any other place, this mountain would have benn called "cave." But in my village people know, for generations, that caves are nothing but mountains with shame. And they hide.
