Against the silence of history
that has deleted us without compassion. Awareness.
We have not existed, women
by practicing submission
we were taught as children. Marginalization.
We had our strenght denied.
They removed our gifts,
the chroniclers of history.
We have not existed, as it hasn't been written
in their books, about our life.
Women won't be silent against oblivion
It's been many centuries doing that.
We'll defend what belongs to us.
Won't be silent. We'll demand all the rights
already conquered and fight for what we are refused.
Equality in work and family.
Parity in the religions that annihilate us. As ours.
Equality in education and decision-making power
schools, businesses,
municipalities, universities, institutions.
Forget the image, always cruel, of so many men
ruling the world without women.
