"The oneness blessing"

Deeksha or Oneness Blessing

Deeksha is a transfer of spiritual energy to the neo-cortex of the brain. Deeksha initiates a neurobiological change in the brain that when complete enables the senses to be free from the constant interference of the mind. When the senses are unclouded by the mind’s interpretations, a natural clarity of perception occurs with accompanying spontaneous feelings of joy, inner calmness and a connection to the Oneness in everything..

Deeksha is transferred by the Deeksha giver normally placing his or her hands onto the crown of the head. Experiences during the Deeksha vary, sometimes strong, sometimes subtle, sometimes delayed until even days later. The recipient may experience a tingling sensation in the head, or blissful feelings running through the body, or sometimes nothing at all. Whatever the experience, the recipient can trust that the process of enlightenment has begun, a process designed for your own nature that will lead gradually (or sometimes spontaneously) into Awakening.

Deeksha does not belong to any religion, or any particular belief or spiritual path. Deeksha is given each day to people all over the world, people of all races, all religions, all spiritual beliefs or no spiritual beliefs, and to people of all nationalities.

My story starts about 2 years ago, when I was invited to attend a Deeksha conference in Los Angeles, CA. Not knowing what to expect we all sat down and listened to a wonderful lecture and following the lecture we all received the, ”Oneness Blessing” from over 300 Deeksha givers. It is recommended to only receive 7 or less blessings, but we did not know any better and we were blessed over 20 times. It was such a powerful experience my wife Gabriella and I don’t even remember getting back up to our room. After the LA conference we agreed to save up money to go to India to receive the 21 day Deeksha training.

In September of 2007 it was announced that the 21 day course will no longer be held in India and October was going to be the last class and than it was going to be moved to Fiji. (Anthony Robins donated 300 acres to the One Movement) We wanted to have the full experience of learning the process in its original home land, Chennai, India. As with most things that follows the divine plan, the universe conspired to handle all and any issues that would prevent us from going, Visas, money, tickets and time.

Upon arriving in India and on to the Oneness campus, I could feel a flow of energy moving through me and a funny side note; I checked the weather for the month we would be in India and it was forecasting thundershowers the whole time, but it only rained on the last day. As we got set up in our dorm-style room on the first day all we did was eat and sleep, I guess it was to slow us down from the hustle and bustle of life in the west.

A typical day would start off at 7:30 am with a meditation and breakfast would follow. We would continue the afternoon session with a lecture and would receive Deeksha after that and than off to lunch. After lunch we would have a talk, with questions and have a meditation with the, “Oneness Beings”. (These people have been put into an elevated vibration and this allows for a greater connection with the divine, amazing!) We would have dinner around 8pm and then off to bed.

Daily life was filled with wonderful experiences; connectedness, gratitude, love, peace and a general sense of wellbeing. We also had many healings, breakthroughs and miracles happen.

We now have been home for over a month, we have Oneness circles every Sunday and every week my experience of giving my friends Deeksha grows, with some people my body shakes uncontrollably. My friends have experienced power emotional releases and a new sense of harmony with life, healing of relationship, and a new feeling of peace.
