Thinking about Miracles

Almost everyone waits for a miracle in life. Everyone is facing one hardship or another, physical, mental or financial. It requires hard work and patience to get over. But who wants to do that? If a miracle is offered that is cheap, and seems to guarantee success then what is harm getting it?
I was promoted to think in this instance, when I came to know about a miracle cure, called Quantum Entertainment! If one cares to visit it's website there is an audio-clip, which like many clever marketing attempts includes voices of several persons, as satisfied customers. All it wants one to do, is to buy a book. Indeed a very cheap panacea, just a few dollars, euros or a few hundred Rupees, to get rid of any problems one has whether emotional, physiological or financial. Fantastic marketing ploy. No explanations, no theories, just the end product.
Indeed it is not the first and the last either. Such claims sprout like mushrooms in a rainy seasons. After all more then half the human population, is made up of fools who have money but dare not think. I am reminded of an Indian Yoga guru Ramdev, who has been every successful in this game, he amassed huge wealth so that he could nurture political ambitions too.
Why do people fall prey to such ploys, well they may be fools, but isn't everyone become a fool sometime? I think I would concur with C. S. Lewis when he said:

“Miracles are a retelling in small letters of the very same story which is written across the whole world in letters too large for some of us to see.”

But then there are miracles even I would tend to believe, the miracle of finding a true friend, from a crowd so dense of deceivers. As I poet has said:

There is a Miracle called Friendship
that dwells within the heart
and you don't know how it happens
or when it even starts.

Yes, I think there are many miracles, waiting for us to be found. But, one needs to beware of clever marketing ploys; attractive offers. Because miracles do happen in life, but without one really seeking to get it cheap, it can take place all of a sudden, when one least expects it. Life has its own mysterious way, it is a puzzle!
