Have you heard of the Excusitis?.
It is an endemic disease that is aggravated if not attacked early.
If not eradicated, ends up causing even more serious two diseases: the "Desmoralitis" and "Failuritis".
Definition of the disease is manifested by acute attacks of assorted excuses.
Excuses are the lies we convince ourselves not to do something, or to avoid responsibility towards life.
Phrases typical of this disease:
"I HAVE NO TIME"
Why lie? Often it is the same as saying "I have no desire." It is curious that the busiest people is precisely who sometimes have more time to do other things.
"I M NOT HEALTHY ENOUGH"
Are you sure? Think of the great men and women in history who could have used this excuse not to do what they did.
"I'M TOO OLD FOR THAT"
If you did not did that at the age at 20, you're not going to do it at 40. There are young people aged 70 and old people aged 30. It is only too late when you think, when you think it's too late.
"I CAN'T/ I DON'T HAVE THE ABILITY"
What if you lack perseverance? Because the constancy or perseverance are 90% of what would later be called "ability".
"I HAVE BAD LUCK"
Have you really tried? Don't try to be lucky if you didn't turn to the planning, optimism, struggle, persevering work . You should take advantage of the difficulties to learn, and failures as a lesson to start over.
"I'M AFRAID"
The indecision and postponement of decisions only make fear grow!. Do not unnecessarily delay what we know we have to face sooner or later. Let's talk to that person, go where we have to go, take that decision now. We will draw a load off and acquire new confidence in ourselves.
The next time we are victims of this disease and want to use an excuse of these, think first ... "Who am I kidding?"
